தொலைத்த இடத்தில் தேடும் முயற்சியாக, எம்மவர்களை இணைக்கும் இச் சங்கமம் வாழ் நாள் நட்பாக நீண்டு நிலைக்க வேண்டும் எனும் நோக்கில் இதனை முன்னெடுக்கிறோம். 1990களில் போர் காரணமான புலம்பெயர்வாகவோ அன்றி வேறு காரணத்தினாலோ பிரிந்த நாம் இங்கு ஒன்று கூடி, ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தாங்கிக் கொள்ளும் தளம் இது. எல்லைகள் கடந்துள்ள நாம் நட்பால் இணைவோம். இங்கிருந்து எம் நிலம் நோக்கிய பணிகளை முன்னெடுப்போம்.

இலங்கையில் வாழ்ந்த எழுத்தாளர் வேஜினியா வுல்ஃப் கூறுகின்றார், “சிலர் பாதிரிகளிடம் செல்வார்கள், சிலர் கவிதைகளை நாடுவார்கள், நான் நண்பர்களிடம் செல்கிறேன்.” அதற்கும் அப்பால் சென்று கூறுகிறார் விஞ்ஞானி அப்துல் கலாம் அவர்கள், “ஒரு சிறந்த புத்தகம் நூறு நல்ல நண்பர்களுக்குச் சமம்; ஒரு நல்ல நண்பர் ஒரு நூலகத்திற்கு ஈடு.” நண்பர்களே சிறப்புத் தான்! அதிலும் உற்றவர்கள் எனின் தனிச் சிறப்பு! அப்படியான நாம் எம் வட்டத்தைப் பெருப்பித்துக் கொண்டு, புதியதோர் உலகம் செய்ய விளைந்திருப்பது சாலச் சிறப்பாக அமைய பிரபஞ்சம் உதவட்டும்!

வாழ்வில் பற்பல நிலைகளிலிருந்து வந்துள்ளோம் நாம். எம்மை இணைக்கும் மையப் புள்ளி நட்பு. மையப் புள்ளி எப்படியும் சுழன்று கொள்ளலாம்; ஆனால் அதன் விளைவு மட்டும் நல்லதையே நோக்கிப் பயணிக்கட்டும் – இனிய நினைவுகள், காத்திரமான தருணங்கள், கிஞ்சித்தும் பிறழாத மனப்பாங்கு, தூர நோக்கு, ஈழத்தின் இன்றைய இளைஞர்களின் சந்தோஷமான எதிர்காலம் எம்மால் முடியும், ஏனெனில் நாம் தனித்துவமானவர்கள்!

ஈழத் தமிழர் நாம் எங்கிலும் எதிலும் தனித்துவமானவர்கள் என்பதைக் கடந்த கால வரலாறுகள் தெள்ளத் தெளிவாகக் காண்பிக்கின்றன. போரும் இரணமும் வலியும் உலகிற்குப் போன்றது தான் எமக்கும். ஆனால் நாம் மீண்டெழுந்தது போல் யாருமில்லை என்றே கூறலாம். இலங்கையின் ‘முதலாவது’ என எதை எடுத்துக் கொண்டாலும் எம் மொழி பேசுபவர்களது பெயர்களே முன்னிற்கின்றன. வெளிநாடு சென்ற முதற் பாதிரியாரும் அக்பர் பாலமும் ஆசிய விளையாட்டுத் தங்கப் பதக்கமும் இலங்கை வானொலியும் இப்படிச் சிற்சிலதே போதும் எம்மவர் புகழ் மணக்க. இத்தனையும் இன்றும் தொடர்கின்றன என்பது தான் சிறப்பு. நால் தசாப்த போரும் அதன் தாக்கங்களும் வடுக்களாகவே அமையினும் அவற்றைத் தடவியபடி எம்மவர்கள் புலங்களிலும் நிலங்களிலும் போராட்டத்தை வேறுவகையில் கொண்டு சென்று இன்று பற்பல துறைகளில் கோலோச்சிக் கொண்டிருப்பது ஈழத் தமிழர் எமது தனித்துவம். நாம் அனைவரும் ஒன்றிணையும் போது எழும் சக்தி அளப்பரியதாக அமையும்.

அந்த வகையில், இப்படி ஒரு கணத்தில், இவ் வண்ணம் ஒரு தளத்தில் ஒன்றிணைவது மிக்க மகிழ்ச்சி. எமது இந்த ஒருங்கிணைவு எமக்கான வெளிகளை உருவாக்க, எம்மவர்களின் சுபீட்சத்திற்குத் துணை போக, சரி நிகர் சமானமாக அனைத்து ஈழத்தவரும் வாழ வழி சமைக்கும் என்ற பேர் நம்பிக்கையோடு இப் பயணத்தை முன்னெடுப்போம். ஒருவருக்கு ஒருவர் அன்பாக, ஒத்துணர்ந்து, அறிவையும் ஆற்றலையும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டு பயணிக்கலாம் வாருங்கள்!
